Poison Pen Mystery Book Club: A New Chapter Begins

The Poison Pen Mystery Book Club has officially launched, bringing together mystery lovers for an evening of discussion, intrigue, and community. Meeting on the fourth Wednesday of every month from 6–8 p.m., the club offers a welcoming space for readers to dive into captivating stories and share their insights. It’s not too late to join us!

The first gathering served as a planning meeting, where sixteen attendees came together to help shape the direction of the club. With strong interest and enthusiasm, the group set the stage for many engaging discussions to come.

For April, the club has selected Still Life by Louise Penny as its featured read. This beloved mystery novel introduces readers to Chief Inspector Armand Gamache and sets the tone for a richly layered series filled with suspense and character-driven storytelling.

To help guide the conversation, book discussion questions will be shared with club members via email once copies of the book arrive. This will allow participants to reflect on key themes, characters, and plot developments ahead of the next meeting.
